Section 01
Overview
This policy explains how PlayIndoorBD uses cookies and similar browser technologies when you visit our website, create an account, submit a booking request or use a player, owner, manager or administrator dashboard.
At the date of this policy, our web application primarily uses local storage and session storage rather than traditional browser cookies. These technologies store small pieces of information in your browser and serve similar practical purposes, so this policy covers all of them together as “browser storage.”
Section 02
Technologies we use
Cookies
Small files a website may place in a browser. We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Local storage
Remains in the browser after it closes until the item expires, is removed by the application or is cleared by you.
Session storage
Scoped to the current browser tab and generally removed when that tab session ends.

Section 04
Visitor analytics and heartbeat data
PlayIndoorBD creates a random visitor session identifier in local storage and sends limited activity updates while the site is open, online and visible. This helps administrators understand active sessions, page activity and platform health. It is not used to add charges or determine player booking prices.
An activity record can include the random session ID, current page path, first and most recent activity time, activity count, account role and user ID when signed in, and technical information supplied with the request such as IP address and browser user-agent. We use this information for operational analytics, security, troubleshooting and service improvement.
Section 05
Third-party services and advertising
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural advertising pixels or third-party analytics cookies in the PlayIndoorBD web application. We do not sell browser-storage identifiers or use them to create hidden player booking charges.
Our hosting, database, communications or security providers may process necessary technical information when delivering services to us. Links to external websites—such as WhatsApp or another provider—are governed by that provider’s own cookie and privacy practices once you leave PlayIndoorBD.
Section 06
Your browser controls
You can inspect, remove or block cookies and site storage using your browser’s privacy, security or site-data settings. The exact steps depend on your browser and device. Clearing PlayIndoorBD site data removes stored identifiers and preferences from that browser.
What happens if you clear or block storage?
- You may be signed out and need to log in again.
- A registration draft or selected-owner-venue preference may be lost.
- A new visitor session identifier may be created on a later visit.
- Blocking essential storage can prevent authentication or dashboard features from working correctly.
Browser “private” or “incognito” mode usually limits how long site storage remains, but behaviour varies by browser.
Section 07
Storage duration and security
Session-storage items generally end with the browser-tab session. The registration draft is designed to expire after 24 hours. Local-storage items remain until the application removes them, an authentication token expires, you log out where applicable, or you clear browser data.
Browser storage stays on your device, but authentication tokens are sent with authorized requests when you use protected features. Keep your device and account secure, avoid using untrusted shared devices, log out when finished and never share passwords, tokens, PINs or recovery answers.
Section 08
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add, remove or change browser-storage technologies or if legal and operational requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If we introduce materially different tracking or advertising technology, we will update the information and controls provided to users as appropriate.
